Ross Bowen, DDS

Dr. Ross Bowen grew up in Marion, IN graduating as salutatorian from Eastbrook High School in 2002. He received his BA in Business Management, Magna Cum Laude, from Taylor University in 2007, and graduated as a Doctor of Dental Surgery from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2012. He was the recipient of the Indianapolis General Dentistry Study Club Student Excellence Award for clinical proficiency & excellence in academics.

Dr. Bowen joined the Clarity Dentistry team after spending 6 years providing comprehensive dental care to under-served patients in both rural Illinois and inner-city Indianapolis. He currently maintains a position with Raphael Health Center one day a week to continue offering dental care to those in need.

Ross and his wife, Michelle, have two young sons Brooks and Beck. When not at work, Dr. Bowen enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing golf, and cheering on the Colts!

Dr. Bowen’s treatment philosophy and mission revolve around educating patients about oral disease prevention and providing high-quality dental care with transparency and honesty.

Julie Office Manager

JULIE

Office Manager
Julie has been in the dental field for over 15 years and has been with Clarity Dentistry since day one! She enjoys getting to know each patient and building a relationship with them, making them feel comfortable and easing their dental anxiety. Julie was born and raised in Beech Grove, Indiana and still currently resides on the south side of Indy with her husband, Kyle, and their young son Camden. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, shopping, and trying to keep up with her toddler!
Laurin Front Office

Front Office
Laurin grew up in Brooklyn, Indiana and graduated from Mooresville H.S. in 2015. She then attended Kaplan College for Dental Assisting, and worked as an assistant for 2 years. She is passionate in helping the patients utilize their insurance benefits to make dentistry less stressful and more affordable. She loves meeting and interacting with all the Clarity Dentistry patients and watching as their smiles transform throughout their treatment. Laurin values quality time with her boyfriend Cody, his son Caysen, and their puppy Jetta! As a family, they enjoy being outdoors, boating, and spending time with family and friends.
Sam Hygienist

Licensed Dental Hygienist
Sam graduated from the Dental Hygiene program through IU School of Dentistry in 2016. She began practicing at Clarity Dentistry in April 2017, a few months after opening our doors as a brand new office in October 2016. She refers to Clarity as her "dental home" and has loved watching our practice grow substantially since opening. She especially enjoys building strong relationships with her patients while providing them with excellent dental care. In her free time, Sam enjoys being with her dogs Maisy an Kiwi, laughing, and having fun with friends and family.
Colleen Hygienist

Licensed Dental Hygienist
Colleen was born and raised a Buckeye, being from a small town in Ohio. Shortly after graduating dental hygiene school in 2017, she moved to Indianapolis to start her career. She has a passion for connecting with patients and educating them on how to achieve their optimal oral health. She strives to make your time in the dental chair as comfortable as possible. She loves to travel and wants to hear about all your favorite adventures and places to visit. When she is home, Colleen enjoys spending time with family and friends, and her blue heeler/border collie pup, Ivy.
McKenzie EFDA

MCKENZIE

Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
McKenzie has been an assistant for 8 years! She is a Southern Indiana native. She attended the University of South Indiana for 4 years where she earned her Bachelor’s in Health Services and became a certified Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. Side note, she also went to cosmetology school within those 4 years and became a licensed cosmetologist. McKenzie has been married to her husband Damon for 2 years and recently gave birth to their first baby girl, Portlyn. She enjoys working out in her free time, traveling, and spending time with family.
Conny EFDA

CONNY

Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Conny was born and raised in Augsburg Germany. She graduated from Dental Assisting School in 1988. After moving to Indianapolis in 1992 she continued her career in dentistry. She received her Expanded Functions Dental Assisting Certificate in 2000 from IU School of Dentistry. She joined Dr. Bowen and the Clarity Team in 2020. She is happy to have found a dental home where quality of dentistry and patient care is top priority. Conny has been married to her husband, John since 2014, she has a son, 2 step-daughters, and 3 granddaughters. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, and traveling.
Andrea EFDA

ANDREA

Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Andrea grew up in Indianapolis and attended Lawrence North High School. She knew at a young age she wanted to pursue a career in the dental field. She has been a dental assistant for almost 10 years. She loves helping patients get their smiles back, while also creating a comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Andrea is recently married and she and her husband have 2 children, Brody and Ansley. She spends most of her free time at ball games, on the lake, and enjoying time with her children.

My four year old has been to two pediatric dentists that have him a huge fear of the dentist. Dr. Bowen and the hygienist that worked with my son were gentle and did everything possible to make him comfortable.
